Palas® has been building and developing various filter & filter media test rigs since 1985 and therefore holds great experience in this field with different applications and testing methods. Palas® is currently the market leader with the world's widest range of state of the art filter & filter media test systems.
Palas® was awarded the "1998 Product Achievement Award" by the periodical "Filtration & Separation magazine" in Atlantic City, USA.

The Palas® product range offers the largest selection of different aerosol generators, dilution systems and state-of-the-art particle measurement technology for particle sizes from 5 nm to 100 µm, which are used as modular, interchangeable individual components as part of the Palas® test systems. Of course, existing testing conduits, e.g. in accordance with ASHRAE 52.2 or EN 779, can also be upgraded to compliance with ISO FDIS 16890 with Palas® aerosol technology.
With this flexibility testing requirements can be simply and reliably met to suit customer requirements or in order to achieve compliance with the relevant standards. The various standards for filter testing includes:
DIN 71460-1/ISO 11155-1(cabin air filters)
EN 779/ASHRAE 52.2/ISO 16890 (room air filters)
ISO 12500 (compressed air filters)
ISO 17536 (oil mist separators)
EN 60312 (vacuum cleaners) etc.

ISO 11155-1 / DIN 71460-1 (cabin air filters)
ISO 5011 (engine pre-air filters)
EN 779/ASHRAE 52.2/ISO 16890 (room air filters)
EN 1822-3/ISO 29463-3 (HEPA/ULPA filters) etc.
Other standards in various versions even with temperature and humidity control options.
Thanks to the high level of reproducibility, the long service life of the equipment and the exceptional cost-effectiveness of Palas® test systems, testing requirements can be simply and reliably met to suit customer requirements or in order to achieve compliance with the relevant standards.
